Overview

Welcome to the documentation for the Divi Insurance Child Theme! This page contains all the steps to set up and use our theme. Please follow these steps and access the additional resources as needed.

Step 1 : Requirements

-Divi Theme
-Fresh Installation of WordPress (Recommended)

Server Requirements

-upload_max_filesize (512M or more)
-max_input_time (300 or more)
-memory_limit (512M or more)
-max_execution_time (1000 or more)
-post_max_size (512M)

Note: These are just recommended values, if you’ve got a Congrats Message in your Divi -> Support Center then you’re good to go, Please Contact your hosting support and ask them to increase these values If you don’t have a Congrats message in Divi Support Center.

Prepare Your Divi Site

Before you begin, make sure you have the Divi Theme by Elegant Themes installed and active. This is necessary since our product is completely based on Divi.

Step 2 : Installing Divi Child Theme

After completing the purchase, download the child theme file to your computer. The zipped folder ends with “.zip” at the end of the filename.

From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance> Themes> Add New and click on Upload Theme. Locate the .zip file on your computer and click Install Now.

Once the file upload is finished, you can click on Activate. You will then see your child’s theme as the active theme in your theme panel.

Please click the Plugin Names or Begin Installing Plugins link on the dashboard screen and start the process. After you have installed the plugins, the next step is to activate them:

Once all the required plugins (or the ones that you need) have been activated, click the ‘Return to the Dashboard’ link.

Import Demo Data :

From the WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Import Demo Data

Here we can see a template preview Click on Import Demo Data

Step 3 : Manual Upload The Json Files (2 Files) :

1. divi-theme-option.json File (Locate divi-theme-option.json in Product Zip File > imports.)

– In WordPress, go to Divi > Theme Options.
– Click Import/Export (up/down arrow).
– Click Import and upload the divi-theme-option.json file.

2. Import divi-theme-builder.json (Locate the file in the product zip file: Product Zip File > imports > divi-theme-builder.json)

– Go to Divi > Theme Builder.
– Click Import/Export.
– Click Import and upload the divi-theme-builder.json file.

Note: This installation video guide is for another theme, but the installation process is the same for all our themes. Please watch the entire video to successfully complete the installation for any of our themes.

Go to Divi > Theme Builder > Global Header

Switch to wireframe view.

Under the header, you will find the slide-in.

Custom TRoo Options

Go to Divi > Theme Options > Theme Options.
Here we have created 2 options

How to Change Theme Colors:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard

2. Navigate to Divi > Theme Options

3. Click the TRooThemes Option tab (last tab on the right)

4. Select Color Settings

5. Enable the Color Option

6. Add and set your preferred global colors

7. Save changes — your selected colors will be applied site-wide!

How to Customize the Preloader:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard

2. Navigate to Divi > Theme Options

3. Click the TRooThemes Option tab (last tab on the right)

4. Open the Preloader tab

Available Preloader Options:

1. Enable/Disable Preloader:
By default, the preloader is enabled using a custom HTML/CSS animation created specifically for the theme.
If you don’t prefer the default animation, you can switch to a custom image-based preloader.

2. Image Preloader Option:
Simply upload your own preloader image, save the settings, and your custom image will be used as the loading animation.

3. To disable the preloader entirely, just toggle the option to “Disable” and save.

Frequently asked questions

Problems importing the layout?
If the importing process stops at 100%, or you have another problem, please make sure that you deactivate security plugins like Wordfence while importing. Then it should work fine. 🙂
